About Aaron
I’ve been a Blue Mountain resident for over 30 years, and I’m a proud product of our Saugerties public schools. After graduating St John’s University with a B.A. in government, I returned home to Ulster County to serve the community that raised me. I have been honored and humbled to serve as a County Legislator since 2022.
I understand our issues and needs and want to continue the work to ensure that Saugerties, Woodstock, and all of Ulster County can be a place where people and families can thrive. I am running for re-election to the Ulster County Legislature because I want to make sure that we accomplish this goal.
Aaron’s Priorities
Hold the line on property taxes
We must ensure that Ulster County is an affordable place to live and raise a family.
Address the housing crisis
Regulate short-term rentals, and promote and build affordable housing inventory for our community.
Push for sustainable economic development
Ulster County needs to lead in job creation in emerging industries and use our strategic location in the Hudson Valley to our advantage.
Protect our environment AND vital natural resources
Ulster County must continue to lead the fight for clean water, clean soil, and an environment free from pollutants.
Fight the ongoing opioid epidemic
The opioid crisis has only worsened from the COVID-19 pandemic. Work with health professionals and law enforcement to continue to fight for treatment and prevention.
