New York voters now elect local, county, state, and federal leaders in even-year elections, placing every level of government on one ballot. This expanded ballot is a powerful opportunity to choose leaders who share our values and will fight for an affordable, safe, and equitable Ulster County, from our villages to our two Congressional seats. It’s all on the line.

Which offices will be on the 2026 ballot?

  • Representative in the United States Congress

    Two Congressional Districts cover parts of Ulster County including NY-19, one of seven swing districts in the country.

  • New York State Officials

    This November, New York’s Governor, Attorney General and Comptroller are up for election, as well as every seat in the New York State Senate and Assembly.

  • Countywide Officials

    Ulster County voters will be choosing our next County Sheriff and Surrogate’s Court Judge.

  • County Legislators

    All 23 seats on the Ulster County legislature are up for election this November.

  • Town & City Officials

    Many elected positions in municipal government will be on the ballot.
