Taylor Bruck
FOR COUNTY CLERK
Incumbent Acting County Clerk Taylor Bruck was appointed last year to fill the vacancy left by Nina Postupack who died last year after serving in the role for decades.
"As a lifelong Kingston resident, I've spent the past 8 years working in the Clerk’s Office, first as Ulster County Archivist, then as Deputy County Clerk, and now as Acting County Clerk.
I’m passionate about making local government more accessible and transparent. I’ve seen how important it is to make government easier to access—whether that's digitizing records, extending DMV hours, or providing better resources for people navigating the process, like multilingual forms and bilingual staff. I’m also committed to sharing a fuller, more inclusive history of Ulster County, especially the stories of those who’ve been overlooked.”
-
March Gallagher
FOR COUNTY COMPTROLLER
Incumbent March Gallagher is running for her second full term and was the first woman elected to serve as Ulster County Comptroller.
In that role, March has provided crucial fiscal checks and balances to the county government, prioritizing transparency in county finances and shedding light on key issues – from housing to broadband to racial equity. And under March’s leadership the Comptroller’s Office has released audits resulting in significant earnings from investments, the collection of taxes from Airbnb, and putting in place processes to continue to increase taxpayer savings.
“I love shining a light and following the money in Ulster County. During my tenure we have implemented significant transparency tools and issued audits that returned real value for Ulster County Residents.”
