About Debra
Debra Gregg Clinton grew up on her family’s farm and has remained in Gardiner to raise her family. Deb earned degrees from SUNY New Paltz and, after college, taught government and politics at New Paltz High School. Since 2009, she has served as Principal of Marlboro Middle School. A natural problem-solver, Deb taught her students to actively exercise their citizenship and be the change they want to see. She is now walking the talk by running for public office.
Debra is best known for her activism on the environment, good government, and women’s rights with her founding of the local organization Move Forward New York, a community-activist organization.

Access to affordable housing for all. A sensible approach to short-term rentals. Focus on a farm-to-community connection.

We must focus on our environment and keep finding innovative ways to ensure a future for our children and next generations. Economic Job Opportunities creating a Green Economy.
Accessibility to County Services
The southern part of Ulster Count deserves improved access to all county services. Increase access to reliable public transportation. Look into grants and state funding for our county infrastructure including broadband access.
