“I've lived in New York State most of my life and in New Paltz for 20+ years. Standing for equal, safe and fair treatment of all our residents. I have a leadership track record of working in government and the arts professionally to leverage on behalf of my constituents.”
About William
Twice elected Village of New Paltz Trustee, a ten year member of the Ulster County Planning Board, and years of widely contributing to our community in a range of positions, have given me opportunities to directly serve my constituents. I have engaged in various roles aimed at enhancing our community, including making contributions to the Village Planning Board, Bike Pedestrian Safety, and Historic Preservation efforts.
As Village Trustee, I have spearheaded initiatives such as the residential Village fire sprinkler law, collaborated to increase retirement benefits for volunteer firefighters, and advocated for a Black history cultural center and the Village's adopted Short Term Rental law.
